I had it not long ago but it seemed like a good and reliable solution to the number plate loss issue. The plates on my boat trailer hang just a few inches off the ground. The first flat tire I lost was backing up behind my boat's trailer in a tight parking lot. I knew the back of the trailer was going to crash into the bushes at the end of the parking lot, but little did I know there wouldn't be enough bushes. The flimsy plastic mount broke. The second time I lowered the boat onto the icy boat ramp. The ice was so thin that the trailer and boat broke through, but the plastic strut broke again. I hope this strong, flexible mount will stay on my license plate even though I don't know how to operate a trailer.
