The scent of lavender and bergamot is so soothing. I'm the type of person who has to think through every unanswered question in the universe before I can fall asleep. I apply a little to my lips, temples and the base of my nose just before I turn off the light. It relaxes me so I don't worry about sleep and by getting rid of that anxiety I fall asleep faster.
