Why does the rating ask how many stars for "warmth"?! Bahaha! In any case, I bought these sponges with realistic silicone expectations as I use silicone on my face, hair and body. These sponges clean as expected, easily removing soft dirt from dishes and household items but not hard dirt or baked-on deposits. Silicone doesn't just rub off. With the way we cook and clean at my house, these sponges take almost everything out of our dishes and kitchen utensils, only sometimes you have to use a natural loofah sponge for deep cleaning. My dish sponge quickly got dirty from the tomato, but that's to be expected. My shower sponge easily cleaned all the suds with just soap and water which was a pleasant surprise. Perhaps for tougher dirt, scrubbing with a scouring agent like baking soda will increase the scrubbing power enough that a second scrubber isn't needed? Overall I like this product and encourage people to look at it as a different product rather than comparing it to a regular dishwashing sponge.
