This USB extension transfer was a complete disappointment. After I put it to the test, it wasn't able to transfer large files efficiently, even from my USB 3.0. The material felt cheap and I'm doubtful it will last long in an industrial and scientific environment. The only positive was the low price, but that's not worth it for a product that doesn't even work properly. Save yourself the trouble and look for a higher quality alternative.
