This is a pretty house dress with great pockets! The pockets are patch pockets, which means you can easily slip things into them when your hands are full. And things you put in the pockets stay in the pockets. Also, the pockets don’t turn inside out the way side pockets do. I love them,The material is very nice and a good weight. It is substantial. This is not a flimsy house dress. It should hold up well.It is 100% polyester, so I would think it would be machine washable, but they recommend hand washing but okay for tumble dry on low heat. I will machine wash mine in cold water and tumble dry low.The design is nice. It has a wide, round collar, which I did not notice in the picture. I notice that although the top is loose on me (I ordered it in a larger size as I would rather have something like this very loose fitting), I can lean over in it without exposing what I do not want to expose. I wonder if the collar is helping keep the top in place and not flopping open at the neck.My only criticism is that the house dress is very long. I am short, and it comes just a few inches above my ankles. I would like it to be about six inches shorter.
