This is a very comfortable and lightweight shirt/dress and is great in the summer. She finds it keeps her cool enough but it also gives a more modest coverage. We dress more conservatively and she wears a lightweight long-sleeve shirt under this with leggings or slacks and this doesn't add too much heat over the top of that. I purchased this for my mother-in-law, but sadly she passed away unexpectedly before the item arrived. It appears to be a well constructed lounger. It may have been a little big for her, but I'm not certain so I put that it fits as expected. The item came promptly. The color is beautiful. I will find someone in our community that can use this. This is a pretty house dress with great pockets! The pockets are patch pockets, which means you can easily slip things into them when your hands are full. My grandmother is wheelchair bound, and needed something nice, but comfortable when people visit. This fits well, is comfortable for her, and looks nice enough to even wear out. I do wish I had ordered it one size smaller so that it looked less like a Muumuu sack and more like a dress.It is not see through, and the material is thick enough to be worn as a dress to work in the garden, answer the door, etc.Overall though, I am quite happy with it.
