Review on 🚗 Motive Products 0100 European Power Brake Bleeder Kit - Efficient Brake System Maintenance for European Vehicles by Jesse Diaz

Purchased for use on a 2000 VW Passat. It came with a gasket that was too thick for the adapter cap. Few threads were visible and it didn't pull tight (see photo, subject said at least 3 full threads should be visible). Air leaks and it pops out when I tighten it tight. I contacted Motive, they sent me a thinner gasket. It still pops out if I overtighten. Once it's managed to seal, try not to make it too tight or loose. After that it was no longer possible to get a good print. I only had to apply 12 pounds of pressure to prevent an air leak. When bleeding, the brake fluid ran out of the adapter and made a huge mess in my engine bay and a puddle on the floor. Contacted Motive again at (408) 612-2687 and asked for a replacement adapter. They didn't answer. I do not recommend this product for VW/Audi due to poor adapter installation. (You should be aware of this flaw in their product as they sell more expensive aluminum adapters as an alternative to cheap plastic adapters.)
