Review on SOLOCOTE Raincoat Lightweight Waterproof Windproof by Jenny Howard

Adorable coat, it fits perfectly as expected. The downside that doesn't allow me to give 5 stars is that after removing the mantle from the plastic packaging it had an unpleasant fishy smell. I sprayed it with an odor eliminator, blew air in the dryer, aired it out at night, washed it in the washing machine and the odor was less, but not completely gone. I intend to keep doing this until it doesn't stink anymore, but it's quite a hassle to put so much effort into a brand new item so my daughter doesn't have to smell one of the worst smells. Maybe where it was stored or in the crate it was shipped in and therefore isolated from this batch of product, I'm not sure.
