I have worked at S&W for more than fifteen years now as both associate attorney and later partner (now retired).
The attorneys there can be very opinionated individuals who will not take no or "maybe" answers when it comes time to negotiate deals - they want what is best for them. While this may work well sometimes during negotiations/dealings over complex matters where their expertise really shines through, that's probably only if your negotiating team also brings along some flexibility! Some cases just don't generate much energy out of either side once all parties realize how far apart they actually stand relative to each other; however, these types of issues usually aren't complicated enough that any real value would likely get lost due to lack of attention by my client anyway.
