Weight enough to stay on top of my new iMac. The cable length is perfect for connecting to one of the built-in USB ports. As a photography enthusiast, I used the SD card reader slot on my old iMac all along, but it's moved to the back of the new model. This was the first feature I tested after plugging it in out of the box. I already knew from other reviews that the SD card must be inserted with the label facing down. The card went in with enough force to let me know it was seated correctly. Surprisingly, assembly, reading, and copying times are much faster with this hub than with the iMac's built-in reader. It ejects even faster. I like it. The $30 price tag seemed a bit steep, but now that it's up and running I love this little Ninja hub/reader.
