Review on 🐾 Say Goodbye to Cat Box Odors with Van Ness Odor Control Extra Giant Enclosed Cat Pan - #CP7 by Holly Naragon

Easily removes clumps from inside drawer

I was very happy and excited to use this (strange I know but my last experience with the tray was awful. You'll see why shortly). My cat Lucy is 9 pounds (about 4 kg) so she's about average right? Well, when she goes to her tray, she immediately stops and crouches. This means it sprays directly onto the front corner of the box every time, causing the litter to "clump" and stick to the inside of the box. Getting this out of our previous crate was a huge task, especially when I didn't get to do it during the day (she's a heavy drinker too, so there might be a boulder in there by then lol). Since it was partially stuck in the (rounded) corner, there was no way I could remove the lump without it falling apart all over the place. you get a picture. She still crouches right in it most of the time, but because the box is about 2 inches larger (both in length and width), the lump doesn't pile up in the corner. I also think she feels lighter when she has more space in front of her and I find clumps in the litter which is a huge improvement. The best thing about this tray is that so far (3 weeks) these lumps stuck to the inner wall come off very easily without breaking like they are waterproof. Previously, they seemed sewn to the last box. As for the situation with the door, I immediately removed it to make it easier to get to the box. As long as she covers her rubbish, I haven't encountered a smell from this area. Overall this is a great value as I find other tablets to be 4-5 times the price of this one.
