When I received my Pyle hybrid amp I immediately saw that it was well packaged and undamaged. I've used this type of hardware before from another manufacturer, went through the setup instructions and got Pyle up and running in about 5 minutes. During installation I noticed that what looks like two buttons on the front were wobbly. The system was powdered and glowed well. When selecting the preferred settings on the blue LED buttons on the front panel, I noticed that the "A+B" speakers are the default setting after a power failure. Since I only use speaker setup "A" in my current configuration, do I have to change the speaker setup after every power outage. The device causes a hissing sound from the speakers when the system is turned on. Not a feature I like as I had NO speaker hiss on the previous system. The function display is well-lit and easy to understand, and the equalizer display is lit but non-functional and displayed at maximum each time it is used unless the selected device is sending a signal to it. When I pressed the LED button to turn off unnecessary front-panel displays, a loud hum came from the speakers. The buzzing went away when I pushed the same button and the light came back on. Considering the price I paid, I can live with these perks. I've only been using it for about a week, so I can't say how this system will perform in the long run despite running between 10 and 14 hours a day.
