Really like this phone holder. I've bought a similar one before, but it wasn't as good and more expensive. This is more stable and the cushioning on the baby bath is better. The quick release works better too. The instructions are in the box (summarized here): The holder is stable after attaching it to the rod with the black screw loosened, rotating the ball joint to get the best angle, and then tightening the black screw. The phone is placed in the holder, then the side arms are squeezed together until the phone is secured. Reasons I really like this holder: Already mounted. Snaps onto a thinner or thicker ventilation rail (vertical or horizontal). Adjustable angle for a better view of your phone. The stand that holds the phone is adjustable for different size phones with padding on the sides and pins on the bottom. The space between the pins on the bottom provides space to connect the charging cable to the phone. A quick-release button on the back extends the side arms to release the phone. Added after 1 month of use: I still really like this holder. It holds up well and stays in place. I use it every time I get in the car.
