I tried two of these cold brewers last year (one was a previous model with no external plastic supports). Both were crushed by a ridiculously weak force. The first crashed after being hit by a plastic milk jug in the fridge, and the second just crashed because it wasn't hit on the handle but on the glass. This, especially the second case, is unacceptable. Nothing in the kitchen should break just because it had to be taken by the body of the object and not by the handle. This doesn't result in wasted money on a broken cold brewer, but it's also incredibly dangerous. I liked this cold brewer when I used it, but I'm too dangerous to recommend it to anyone unless it breaks catastrophically. during normal use. Do not use this product, the price and convenience is not worth the risk of getting glass in your food or cutting your hand.
