Review on 🎨 Amazon Basics Black Aluminum Flipchart Whiteboard and Display Easel Stand with Adjustable Height Tripod, 35 x 2 x 28 Inches - High Boardroom Design by Nicole Mcleod

poor quality control but more durable than other $30 stands

I wanted a replacement easel stand for my workshops but was struggling to find a sturdy yet lightweight portable model. The first RevainBasics I ordered had a broken leg that would not extend at all. The second one I'm testing right now is fine, except one of the board's bottom supports slides down the leg even with the clamp engaged - my board started to fall to the side. The hooks on the top bar of the pillow holder and the supports on the bottom plate are made of thin plastic. I doubt they will last long. Another annoyance is that there is an awfully loud squeak when twisting to lock/unlock the legs. There is only one way to adjust the height (as is common with flipchart stands) by extending or folding the legs - there is no second periscope adjustment at the top like other easels. What's good: The stand is very light and easy to carry. . Assembly is fairly easy, although it may take a little effort to install/disassemble. It extends to a good height (I've seen some reaches as low as 5ft). The product isn't really "heavy duty" as advertised, but the legs are larger in diameter and noticeably sturdier than many of the easels. at the same price.
