The shape of this hat is so bold and unique! I have red and the color is bright red, not berry red. It's "Christmas Red" and I wore it for the holidays. It's made from high quality wool felt, it's lightweight and mine has a great little tie on the inside to tie it tight if needed. I don't need it to be harder so I'm fine. This works for me. If you had a hat pin, I'm sure you could put a pretty flower on it. But you don't have to. Its prefect right out of the box. It covers the entire head except for the ears, so it will look amazing with vintage earrings.
