I love this printer when it works. My first printer didn't set up because the ink cartridge was bad (resulting in the black ink not working, although magenta was the only one not set up properly). It then jammed every time I typed after two months of great work. They sent replacements and everything works great. Then he stopped printing wirelessly. Disappointing aside, print quality is excellent, and replacement cartridges are only $5. Wonderful. It's currently working great (and has worked for most of this semester). I was about to give it 4 stars but remembered my frustration and stopped. I'd say if you're willing to return one to get one that works properly, this printer is probably worth the money. It's inexpensive and the ink is super cheap. Update: 02/03/2013 I give up, this printer is terrible. Let me be clear, when it works, it's AWESOME. I mean that. My friend has one that was excellent. I'm having no luck, I mention my initial frustration with a bad cartridge and replacing the printer because it keeps jamming. Then how easily Lexmark replaced it. Then I got a new one and it was great. for a few weeks. It then didn't print wirelessly for a while, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the software until it finally worked. Then it was off to the jam festival for the new printer. First I had to remove the optional paper tray as it couldn't jam paper in the backplane. any pressure. THEN it started jamming the paper in the print head so it got stuck, clumped up, then the print head ripped the cotton paper and the ink was everywhere. Then. Just as I was about to throw it off the balcony it cleared up and worked amazingly well for a month or so. Now it no longer prints wirelessly or via a USB cable. This is ridiculous and I'm sure I won't get my money back for this piece of junk. Not to mention the extra ink cartridges I bought (because the ink was so cheap). Now I know why the ink is cheap, they can't give it away. because the printer refuses to print, so no ink is needed. I hate this printer and I advise everyone against it.
