I bought a couple of these to use with the Rode PSA1 studio arms (I have 4 arms, 2 of my original mounts broke at the bottom and I lost 1 so replaced 3). If you are looking for a solution to this problem, this is a great solution. Unlike the original Rode pedestals, they don't rise up from the countertop as much, so they're less obtrusive and have a low profile. a screw to lock the lever in place, which I thought was a nice improvement (the original wasn't). Below the metal is a green silicone element that helps it hold the table top, a note. Pick it up and screw it back in, the little pad might come loose/peel off the device it's not supposed to be, but you can slide it into the little holes it originally mated with and it'll still work.
