Hopefully writing this review will help someone save time and money. I've had various Fitbit watches over the years and while the downside has its upsides in the beginning, I've had to go through 3 of them in less than 2 years. The watch runs for around 6-8 months and then problems start to appear - one of the biggest for me was that the auto tracker for your daily workout/activity just stopped working. I liked the Fitbit app, but when I have to manually add my daily workouts because the watch isn't working (even with active calories being detected), the watch just doesn't do the job. for me... so I threw them in the trash. The online Fitbit support threads didn't help, nor did the Fitbit client SVC - I would have to pay to have the watch replaced and run into the same problem again. I never bothered with the Apple Watch BC My main goal was fitness tracking/calorie burning but after verse #3 my boyfriend gave me one and I haven't looked back since. Save money, don't buy a Fitbit.
