A good set of durable three layer stainless steel cookware that will last a long time with proper care. Pans can be a little heavy for some flavors, but they hold heat really well. The handles of the lid are shapely and serve as a shelf for spoons or cutlery. The glass is nice and thick so it feels durable. I noticed that some of the pot and pan handles were a bit sharp in places, so I used a small, fine sanding cloth to round the edges in a few places. The handles seem a bit strange to me too. Functional but not comfortable in my opinion. Empty pans feel a little heavy, which can cause uneven temperatures. Everything gets better when the pots are full. Well constructed, if not well finished in all cases. I like the weight and the presence of glass lids, but this isn't a perfect set at all. Despite the weaknesses, I still give 4 stars. At $350, that's a decent price. I don't know if it's any better than the $200 Cuisinart set (which has a good view), and I'm sure it's no better than the $1000 All Clad set, but if you have one want heavy SS cookware set with glass lids then here one set works very well. I get a nice even browning of the meat in both pans. Cleans well with BKF every time. I don't see any redness yet, but I haven't abused it at all. The hottest thing I've ever cooked was probably 7 or 8 boiling water on an electric stove.
