Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Artillery Sidewinder X1 SW X1 Printer: Top-notch Printing Precision at Your Fingertips by Deejay Devarashetty

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fantastic printer, suitable for 3D printers

Excellent packaging, nothing damaged, very easy setup. Assembly instructions were easy and included many additional parts including wheels, screws, filament release lever, tools and a storage pouch. I didn't have lock washers for the vertical screws, so I used thread lock instead. Thread sample not included. The software setup instructions were a bit sparse, and initialization details were missing. There were no sample print files on the USB flash drive. After downloading the CAD program and finding a couple of calibration files, I immediately started printing. The printer is very reliable and I originally considered the Creality 10s Pro. This printer is cheaper and seems to have all the disadvantages compared to the 10s Pro. Direct drive, very quiet, clean cables, no fan issues and a better frame. All of the hardware that I initially thought was plastic (mounting plates, filament holders, etc.) was aluminum. Very strong and reliable frame, direct drive and has not yet glued. , or adhesion problems. I would recommend spending some time with your slicing software to adjust wall thicknesses and infill densities and experiment with temperatures. For your information. This comes with three different brands of slicing software that are not installed on the host program. The host software is required to control the printer motherboard. The slicer translates the machine code from the CAD software into the 3D print code. Obviously this is all lay language. Your computer does not need to be directly connected to the printer and function printer with a USB drive or a micro SD card. The hardest part of the whole process are the CAD programs that have nothing to do with the printer. I hated the tutorial videos for or Fusion 360 on YouTube. Either I can't understand them because of the language barrier, or they expire too quickly without explanation. I tried different authors for hours. TinkerCad is a good basic but limited CAD program. Downloading ready made CAD files from internet for printing is very easy once you understand the steps and process. The seller had no rating for this item and was reluctant to order without ratings; but they delivered as promised. Considering it was only $20 more than the best price direct from China with a 6 week wait, they were worth it. They also cost $30 less than any other Revain provider. Seller: HeSai I am very impressed with this printer and its seller.
