Some do not compress firmly onto wire

Red spade terminals do not compress enough to fit snugly on wire. I used standard car speaker wire. Curiously, the males shrunk perfectly to fit snugly against the wire. Other sizes/colors are not known to me. I'm just a little frustrated when you try to do it qualitatively/professionally.
