Works like OEM, with power. It is written that it does not work with the key that you pull out the cover, it works. When the new skin comes first, it doesn't snap to the contacts right away. I had to try a few times to make it work, the new skin doesn't hold the formed shape. it's a bit flexible. So I didn't give 5 stars because it didn't need to be tuned. My key fob doesn't use the remote start feature so I just blacked it out with a marker, it seems there's no need to remove the extra contact point on the inside of the skin.
