Beware of spikes

Just received and unused. I'm not sure I will. What worries me is how the comb teeth are shaped. Each tooth has a central suture that is quite sharp/raised. If you have thick hair it might not matter, but I'm concerned about the seams breaking on my mixed texture hair and damaging it when I try to detangle it. Other than that, delivery was quick, cost was reasonable, only one failed experiment was chalked up. Too many problems come back too.
