My cat has NEVER covered her poop. I got the impression that she didn't like the texture of the feces crystals. I ordered this filler out of laziness because I could at least flush away the little "leftovers" of fall, but to my surprise I actually checked because there was no poop! All I saw were small hills and they were bigger than I had hoped. Now it covers EVERYTHING. She never has really bad things because I feed her food that looks just like me; real chicken, shrimp, shellfish, crab, squid, all PetSmart brand products with simple ingredients, but these folks who complain about the need for additional products to mask the smell of their pets' poo should REALLY take better care of their pets take care and stop feeding them canned food. killed on the road or dry, burned food, devoid of any nutrients.
