Bought because I needed an inexpensive way to make a special tool and didn't want something made in China. I cut off the end of the tool and rotated the shank to use the inside of the 12mm head with a percussion gun to remove the offset T60 flywheel bolts on a BMW M5. The clearance holes for these screws are offset from the centerline of the actual screws and require a reduced shank to engage the Torx head tool. This is a typical BMW trick to discourage unskilled people from disassembling their products without their tools. A BMW special tool costs about $60. This tool cost me about $10 and 10 minutes of cutting and grinding time.
