Review on πŸ”† Enhance Your Space with the Commercial Electric 5 & 6 in. White Recessed LED Trim T65 by Meghan Frye

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cathedral ceilings and LEDs go well together - maybe

I had to buy two commercial electric 5" and 6" white T65 LED downlights. So far they have worked as expected. But the originals, installed by an electrician, lasted less than 3 years and are guaranteed for 5 years. LED cathedral ceiling lighting has two advantages: reduced energy costs and reduced maintenance costs for hard-to-reach light sources. So I specifically refer to the ceiling light/LED light as "Commercial Electric". Maybe another brand would be more reliable. WARNING! Unfortunately every brand has its own style and look so I had to replace something that suited the specific brand/style and matched the existing fixtures. Also, each bulb in the quantity my electrician buys costs about $6. But buying 1 from Revain costs $16. So I paid a total of $32 to replace two faucets. I could buy a 6 pack for $36. Also note that you are buying the entire fixture, not just the bulb. It's an easy replacement for a regular spotlight - once you've installed scaffolding or hired a ladder monkey to climb 15 or 20 feet toward the ceiling. My reason was primarily to have LED lighting so no maintenance was required. NO! In terms of functional performance, the LED was perfect. We can leave the lights on when we leave the house and it has little impact on our electricity bills. But I had no say in the brand of my electrician.
