Others sell the same gauge with 4 probes instead of 5 for $10. Grab one of these instead as it doesn't cost any more. They don't have proper cold junction compensation, so accuracy is questionable. You need to let the device temperature stabilize at ambient temperature for a while to get closer to the correct reading. Min/max/avg also seems to show Kelvin instead of Fahrenheit for some readings. The average only works for 2 probes. The auto shut off also only lasts 3 minutes instead of the advertised 10, the cheaper version I tested was 10. You have to turn it off every time you turn it on unless you only need it for 2 minutes.
