Description of 🌡️ Wired & Stainless Steel Thermocouple Probe Digital 2 Channel K-Type Thermometer with Kelvin Scale for Dual Temperature T1-T2 Measurement Testing

Designed to operate with two external K-Type thermocouple probe with a wide temperature range and selectable temperature modes in degrees Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin. Temperature range: Main Unit: -50~1300°C (-58~2372°F); External Thermocouples included: -50~400°C (-58~752°F) Bead type; -50~700°C (-58~1292°F) stainless steel K-type probe. The K-type Thermometer features a "T1-T2" calculation capability that allows users to quickly determine the difference between two samples. Easy-to-operate with only six buttons. Compact, durable, fits in the hand. The meter comes with a rubber protector that damage from being dropped. It also has built-in microcontroller software. Ovens, furnaces, ceramics, pottery, molten metal, and a variety of other industrial applications for high temperature measurement.

Poor instructions.: Thermometer

I didn't like the instruction manual that came with it. They were terrible at leaving the meter on for more than ten minutes. After figuring it out, it seems to be working fine so far.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Metal probe not working

Easy to use thermometer. All sensor cables are the same length, so you have to work in a small space to use multiple sensors at the same time in different environments. The metal sensor included in the kit does not work. However, I only noticed this after the return date. If you order this I will check the status of all sensors as well as slots once they arrive. Not a bad thermometer for the price, except for two things mentioned above.

Nearly accurate and 5 star rating

I have used this for subcooling and superheating in an AC housing unit. I also measured the temperature difference in each flow/return channel. I even measured my fridge and freezer. I definitely like the bulb thermocouple and don't like the probe wires. In general, the work is carried out almost exactly. Good enough for my taste. I was also working on an air conditioner and it was getting dark early now; So it has a backlight so you can see the temperature reading. I thought it was cool.

Pros
  • Industrial and scientific
Cons

Buy the $10 version, it's not worth more.

Others sell the same gauge with 4 probes instead of 5 for $10. Grab one of these instead as it doesn't cost any more. They don't have proper cold junction compensation, so accuracy is questionable. You need to let the device temperature stabilize at ambient temperature for a while to get closer to the correct reading. Min/max/avg also seems to show Kelvin instead of Fahrenheit for some readings. The average only works for 2 probes. The auto shut off also only lasts 3 minutes instead of the…
