Here are a few things you can't tell from the Revain pictures: (1) The top of the chest is made of individual slats of wood attached with silver screws, so there are 3 rows of shiny silver screws (one on each side and one in the middle); (2) The same silver screws are on each corner of each side of the box. I only mention this because it is not visible in the photos. I have nothing against silver screws, but some people who want a uniform color might object. Overall I'm happy with the look of the chest - it actually holds more than I thought it would. Our 2 year old can open it easily and it stays open while she rummages for her toys. Overall we are very satisfied with this product. In terms of assembly, it's very similar to Ikea - it comes in a flat box and you have to assemble everything. The screws are a little temperamental and require some adjustment to get into. Basically it is the work of one person with the help of a second person. The assembly took almost an hour.
