Something I didn't know before I started running coax. These types of connectors, especially 90 degree connectors, introduce a lot of noise and degrade the signal. I bought a female to female connector here, but I bought a 90 degree connector (the same one listed as an option here) from Lowe's. I just invited a cable technician over to my house because my internet stopped working and his equipment confirmed that a 90 degree connection causes a 10dB signal drop because fine. Lowe and Revane sell crap to people (like me back then) who don't know any better. All, what you're worried about is having to rotate 90 degrees or connect two cables together. That's cheap bullshit, good connectors cost $5-10 each. If you don't want to pay that much, chances are your cable company has everything you need on their truck. They certainly aren't going back to your home because THEY used trash connectors so they have quality materials. The straight plugs I bought here go in the trash.
