I like the big heavy size but that's the only good thing about this iron. Temperature Settings - There is only one button to control the temperature level. This way you can't scroll up and down the different temperatures, only up. To get to the lower temperature setting, you need to press the temperature button multiple times until it scrolls through all of the higher temperature settings, then to the "off" position, then back to the desired temperature. When the iron heats up and reaches the desired temperature, you will hear an annoying beep. It's also the same beep that sounds every time you press the next higher temperature, which is a lot since the unreasonable placement of the temperature button means you keep accidentally pressing that button while ironing. If it beeps, without looking at the display, you won't know if it's accidentally switched to the next higher setting, or if it's reached the correct temperature for that setting. This is made worse by the fact that the LCD screen lasted less than six months (and I only used it for about two hours in six months). Now to find out what temperature settings I'm using I have to go through all the settings and count the beeps. Annoying little beeps. I haven't tried any of the steam or water tank settings but they look just as bad. junk iron. Not worthy of the old Black/Decker reputation.
