Review on Eviciv Portable Monitor: Touch Screen, Built-In Speakers, 7-Inch Display (1024X600), MDS-702 by Mario Badoni

Lots of pixels, nice form factor.

This is probably the best pixel value micro monitor I've seen on the market. With other brands, you pay more for a lower pixel density. This is a really high quality display that can be placed on a desktop next to the main monitor to monitor 3rd party applications and works well as a standalone display for a headless PC, Mac or Raspberry Pi. -Higher resolution given the size, which is somewhere between a Kindle and a large cell phone. -Super compact for assemblies that can be hidden away or on a shelf for a computer used for applications such as BitTorrent clients or a media server. -Built-in speakers can be handy when connected via HDMI. They don't sound very good, but you can hear them for system alerts. Cons: The included tiny feet don't do much to prevent the device from sliding around on the table. You should secure them with at least one self-adhesive rubber backing so the tension of the three cables (HDMI plus two micro-USB) doesn't move them even on slightly slippery surfaces. The device has no back to protect it. from falls or mishandling. It's by design, but you should keep that in mind if you intend to use this in a portable app before tossing it in your bag. As a second monitor, the touchscreen function is somewhat unreliable. It works great on its own, but when used as a secondary display, it responds to touch as if it were the primary display. It's hard to explain and maybe it can be fixed with other drivers or a setup method that I haven't found.
