Carhartt shirts (and shorts) are my go-to choice for everyday wear. Excellent material and processing quality, a variety of styles, fabrics and colors, a pleasant "simple" look that is timeless. And basically. Carhartt is one of the newest manufacturers to make their life size clothing. I gave Goodwill a handful of branded t-shirts because their 2XL size had shrunk so much that they were effectively two sizes too small. They often go through the chest and shoulders, but over the years they've gotten shorter and shorter until the hem barely touches my belt. If you go to 3XL or even 4XL they just get bulky and sometimes even then too short. Carhartt is still full size in every size, like some of my oldest treasured shirts. Worth the moderate surcharge, especially with iron longevity! I always cut off the logo before the first wash. Partly because I don't wear brands on the outside (even the ones I admire) but mostly because the damn square is so hard it'll scratch you!
