Review on OTC 7314A Pitman Arm Puller by Andres Imaging

This tool is designed to do a job and do it well. Of course I've only used it once, but the ease with which it removes the bipod grip was quite impressive. I was expecting a big fight to get the lever on my 50 year old steering box, but it just happened. No impact wrench, hammer or penetrating oil required. It slipped right through the arm, I tightened the nut a bit and the arm came loose in 10 seconds. It feels reasonably built, is a good weight and the torsion bar 'bolt' has a nice raised point on the end to ensure it is centered on your steering box. Unless you're a full-time mechanic, you'll probably only use this tool a few times in your life, but it's well worth the small price tag. And for the curious, mine was marked "Made in Taiwan" but the quality seems more than adequate for its intended use.
