Dometic's awning handle has been the same for as long as I can remember and sooner or later it will fail. However, it was the best replacement price I could find. It's relatively easy to install and comes with everything you need to do it. I've replaced a few of these in the sheds of various apartments I've had and haven't found an aftermarket replacement yet.
