First I would like to point out that it is very unlikely anyone has a drill that can drill a hole for this, most likely you have a spare switch or something like that and that fits best. I had actually already drilled a 5/8" hole, which was perfect, but it wasn't accurate, mainly because the red rubber piece that screws into it only has a small collar, no more than 1/8". I went to Home Depot and bought a 7 cent washer that was 5/8 inch and bam, a stainless steel collar that keeps them looking professional. Relatively simple, this is a snap action switch that I use to start the 12v system on my 72" Karmann Ghia. I have previously bought another button which quickly blew due to under amperage, this gives me a clear start every time.

Pros
  • Can be installed in panels up to 1/4" thick
Cons
  • Minor issues
