Twice as big is my verdict
sweet and soft It fits but is comfortable. I bought this for a 1 year old so I chose a 2 year old thinking a larger size would be perfect. If your child is not average I would increase it by 2 if you plan to live at least 2 years. The kid likes it, hence the 5 stars.
