Solid die cast and painted/coated metal handle. Stainless steel gauge pads and meter bar. Chrome plated meter actuation arm. Accurate to within 5 ten thousands which is perfect for the purposes of gauging paper to set a printing press impression pressure. Easy to read display in both US standard and Metric measurements. Uses a standard off the shelf button battery that is easy to change. Even comes with a foam padded plastic case to keep it safe. Is completely accurate for my copy of this instrument as gauged against a standard Starrett US measure micrometer with multiple sheet thicknesses. I recommend this product.
