To keep this review realistic, I'll start by saying that it only cost $22, so my expectations weren't very high. He's only been with us for a week, after that I can't say anything more. Still, this was a cheap gift for a 5 year old. I like that it can be connected to a TV, although the cord is short and you'll need a TV with composite (RCA - yellow, red and white) inputs. The screen is small, 2.5 inches (although I knew that when I bought it). Ours seems to reboot from time to time for no apparent reason. So far the kids are loving it so it cost me $22. I'd say if I were buying a portable video console for an older kid I'd spend a little more money on something more expensive, but for a 5 year old that seems fine.
