Fits perfectly on my standard 14" x 54" ironing board! Elastic waistband around the perimeter ensures a perfect fit. absolutely no need for extra tapes etc for security reasons. The extra side pocket was a nice feature but I didn't really need it. I tried hiding it under the lid in case I wanted to use it in the future, but the surface got too bulky so I just cut it off. The background color of this cover is a pleasantly light ecru (off-white). The flowers, leaves, and butterflies are in beautiful muted greens and pinks that don't stand out or demand attention. My old ironing board cover was so thin that I put this new ironing board cover directly on top of the old one. This gave me a little "extra padding" so that the overall pattern of the board's metal frame didn't show through. It's only been a month or two, but I'm pleased with the price, aesthetics, and functionality of this DELUXE HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS (Spring Meadow Print) IRONING BOARD COVER. I recommend this product.
