Description of VViViD Low Tack Adhesive Stencil Masking

Low-tack adhesive backing is easy to place and remove. Applies easily to any smooth, non-porous surface such as art board, finished wood, glass, tile and metal. Non-porous vinyl is ideally suited for use with water-based artistic mediums, from acrylic paint to pastels. Gridded backing paper allows for more precise cutting, trimming and application. Matte, translucent finish allows for maximum precision during installation and use. Great for multiple layers. Perfectly suited for stencil painting, lettering, signage and exhibition decoration, especially with multi-colored designs.

Great product!: Self-adhesive vinyl

Love this thing! I use my Cricut to create many different things and this is the best stencil vinyl I've found. It is ideal for wooden signs. It is easy to rearrange and remove.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Don't waste money

If you only make stencils for large circles, squares or other shapes, that's fine. If you make something with letters or smaller things, don't waste your money. The inside of each letter flies out at the first touch, and when you catch and place them, don't even think about breathing near them because they come loose every time.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Absolute bullshit for sticky vinyl

I couldn't even try it. I was trying to get it off my light grip (worn out) cricut mat and it had a paper backing so it just broke and I had to take it off piece by piece. Sorting was also very difficult. If something is torn off (e.g. the inside of a letter), it cannot be reattached to the backing. It's also a bit thicker than regular screened vinyl because it doesn't appear to be cut through, so I'd up the pressure if you're buying it. I ended up throwing it away and never used it the first…

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I didn't like scrapbooking and stamping

I hate giving bad reviews but this really let me down. I was looking forward to starting work this weekend but this vinyl is not performing the way I wanted it to. Firstly, the picture in the listing is deceptive. I thought I had this thick roll of vinyl. But he's super skinny. Says 25 feet but it doesn't look like it. Second, this vinyl is extremely difficult to weed since it is very thick. Don't take this if you want to make middle and small letter characters. It is impossible to remove…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • For old

Cricut Cutting Setting: Premium Vinyl Matte Opaque - Details

Great product. There were problems at first, but one day when you fix some things, the product is excellent. 1. Use a light carpet or an old regular carpet. You don't need a lot of grip, just enough to keep it on the mat.2. Use the Premium Vinyl Frosted Opaque cut setting and apply more pressure3. Rinse thoroughly as you would any vinyl stencil.4. Use lightweight transfer tape. I just took a piece and pressed it against my shirt a few times to secure it. Hope that helps. I love the product when

Amazing for my RCing hobby

First of all I have to say that I'm new to the Cricut user family and have a lot of hobbies including RC, airbrushing and graphics. This is my first attempt at making my own Cricut fairing for my RC hobby. I am very pleased with the results of this masking film. The Cricut setup used is a custom letterpress vinyl, which I couldn't do with this design and had to help sort out the letters, when I placed it in the cleaned Lexan body, it stayed in place without the Paint ran out. Hood sample…

Pros
  • Great for screen printing, lettering, signage and exhibit design especially with multi colored designs.
Cons
  • No Instructions

I really like the stickiness and quality of this masking material. It cuts very well on my Silhouette machine and the 12" width makes it very easy to mount on a 12" x 12" mat on my machine. I just wish it wasn't so blue so I can see through it a little better. However, this is not a violation of the terms of the contract. I bought this product because it was advertised as a transfer and masking material. But I only bought it for masking purposes and it works great for that purpose because it's…

Pros
  • Mesh backing paper for more precise cutting, trimming and application.
Cons
  • I'll write later
