Looked great just lacking in brightness. I found another website that claims to have standard quality for around $150. I bought it, installed it and found that it's twice as bright, the color is more vibrant. I finally remembered what my projector should look like! Luckily Amazon accepted the return without any problems. I'll report back if it doesn't last the expected hours, but it's a genuine Japanese Ushio lamp so I'm sure it will live up to its rating.
