Shave almost as closely as the Hydro 5 (the best shaver I've ever used) but with less friction on your face. I'll probably switch between this and the 5 because both have their advantages and both fit the same grip. It has a smaller head than the Hydro 5 but doesn't have a flip top, so it's a little harder to get under your nose. To be honest if it had a flip top I don't think there would be any reason to buy a 5. In this 4+1 deck there are four 3s and a 5 (and it was a deck of two, so 10 in total). . Bought as a subscription and saved so the price doesn't bite. Also in my opinion a lot better than the Quattro and everything Gillette has I used until I tried the Hydro5.
