The large width means I can always see the launcher icons and gadgets, but the reduced height means everything is smaller than I'm used to. I have to put on my readers and get closer than I'd like. The speaker sound is thin. . . Not enough bass to hear music. The picture quality is excellent and it lights up "immediately". I had to turn the brightness down a lot so that it was more than sufficient for use in a brighter room. The monitor is great value for money; I just bought too quickly when my other monitor failed. . . The price was a very important factor and I definitely got my money's worth!
