Ladies and gentlemen, as a harsh critic, I have to say that this is one of the very few instances where *I* have taken the initiative to join Revain (without Revain's conviction ) and give this bulb 5 stars! (I usually do this when I'm very dissatisfied with a product I've bought!) I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lightbulb. Here's why: 1) The color is beautiful - a nice rich color, similar to an incandescent bulb - not the ugly white LEDs the manufacturers say we'll be using in the home - we want yellow ones! 2) Light diffusion is the BEST I've ever had. seen in all LED lights I've tried. ALL LEDs in my house. All of this, so trust me when I say what I'm saying, 3) you know how you plug an LED bulb into a downlight and you literally see half the light is on and half isn't going through the light - what that destroy beauty of it? - Well, this is the first lightbulb that does NOT! 4) The bulb shape is so innovative. It's like taking a lightbulb and squeezing it into a two-dimensional (flat) shape. You have a much better grip screwing it into the base and it's naturally cool to the touch. 5) The surface of the bulb is some kind of plastic, NOT GLASS. That means if you accidentally drop it, it won't shatter like glass - how cool is that? Also for ceiling lights - this bulb is so easy to push in as it is flat - another great benefit. 6) It's dimmable, doesn't make any noise or flicker thanks to those expensive hundreds of dollar LED lights - now you can go back to all your regular incandescent bulbs and just pop these in instead. I've ordered 4 and plan to order at least 10 more when I'm done. write this review. PHILIPS - Great job on this product. Consider 75W and 100W equivalents of this type!
