Review on πŸ”§ Effortlessly Seal and Extend with Ready America FT 88503 Flextension Caulking by Elvis Bragg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bad design, falls apart

Great idea but really badly designed. I thought the extension was a single piece of plastic. nope It consists of two plastic parts: a base that screws onto the nozzle and a flexible hose. The problem with this design is that when the sealant is forced through the curved nozzle, the two pieces separate. The curved nozzle is pushed out of the sealant with more force than the nozzle is held at the base. I suppose you could use tape to attach the nozzle to the base BEFORE using it, but what's the point. I might as well use a flexible straw and tape to attach the caulk tube.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Vulgarity
