Since this is 100% cotton it has zero stretch. This means if it doesn’t fit you just right- it doesn’t fit. As a 5’5” 180lb short torso gal this was snug up top, but then unflatteringly falls to look like a fat moo moo dress past the girls. It makes me look like I’m pregnant or trying to hide a set of very wide hips. There is nothing flattering about this dress. In the photo it looks like it hangs nicely and has movement- nope. Stiff cotton, scratchy like linen. There’s no cut on the bias to help you out. I won’t be wearing this again, and will be donating it to charity for someone else who might be able to wear it better.
