I do projects that involve metal cutting such as fitting aprons around windows that require safety goggles. Some of the work is done by helpers who usually show up without goggles so I thought I'd buy these goggles (bulk pack of 12), clear polycarbonate goggles to cover everyone. Even before my first metal cutting project, I realized I had to try this with a line trimmer. They worked great and way better than my sunglasses making it difficult to see some of the seed heads on the taller grasses. The fit is comfortable (it's a one size fits my large head) and my vision is unobstructed. The hinge works smoothly. A scratch resistant coating is definitely needed as we start building outdoors in a few months. The only suggestion I would like to make to the manufacturer is the wording "clear tint" on the packaging. Glasses can be transparent or tinted, but usually not both at the same time!
