I made this to add minimal accents to wood to enhance existing wine tones when using shellac when even pale shellac tends to "yellow" these colors. I've never used Panpastel and it's an interesting product - it can be applied with a brush or anything else that will pick up one of the colors. Powder. Fingers included ;) it has decent opacity and color intensity, so different color intensities can be added to wood, paper or other substrate that can absorb the powder. It's fairly easy to apply and then wash off when just the tiniest touch of color is needed. It can also be sprayed or even blown onto the surface of an adhesive, varnish or similar while the surface is still tacky. All in all interesting stuff so I'm thinking about trying different colors.
